This game now contains both ghosts and NPCs. There are scenarios when Linda has no way but to protect herself and has to run away or hide. The physical ghosts can only be destroyed using physical weapons or projectiles, whereas the intangible ghosts can only be destroyed using an irisphone.

There are two different types of ghosts in dreadout 2- physical and intangible. Like in the first game, here also Linda uses irisphone to fight ghosts. The game has more realistic and action-based stuff however, its gameplay is quite similar to the first series. However, a strange evil arises again, and she is the only one who can fight it. The story follows where Linda gets back to her normal life. The story is a continuation of her life and the struggles she faces after the end of the first game. The main character in this game is Linda Linda Melinda.

When this happens use the original EXE to play online, else you could find yourself banned from the game!

Some No-CD/Fixed EXE files work fine in Single Player mode but are detected to be modified when trying to play online.

Always make a backup of the files that are overwritten by the File Archive, as the original files are usually required to update the game to a newer version or to play Online!.
